Ciudad Bolivar is located in Venezuela. Ciudad Bolivar is situated on the southern banks of the Orinoco River, placed at a higher altitude than the plains. One of the most popular tourist attractions in Ciudad Bolivar is the Cathedral Ciudad Bolivar which is a church attributing colonial style of architecture and is situated in the northeast of Bolivar and devoted to the Nuestra Seriora de las nieves, the patron saint of the city. Numerous tourists visit Ciudad Bolivar Cathedral, not because it is a religious place but also has an impressive architectural variety. The place is easily accessible from all points of the city.
San Isidro Museum is one of the famous tourists spot in Ciudad Bolivar. In earlier times the estate of the San Isidro was the property of, provincial mayor of the first city council formed in the city of Angostura. Jose Luis Cornieless a very good friend of the Simon Bolivar (great leader) often stayed at this place and Simon Bolivar drafted a message for Angostura Congress held in 1819. The place is remarked as the National Historic Monument.
